At Envision Eye Care, we’re dedicated to finding you contacts that are as comfortable as they are effective. Whether you’re a first-time wearer or looking for a new pair, Dr. Lucas Spiker and our team will ensure your lenses are fit, or tailored, to you.
During your thorough contact lens exam, we’ll talk about your daily life to see what lenses make sense for your average day. We’ll then screen for ocular surface diseases and measure your eyes using corneal mapping — which provides a detailed 3D map of the cornea’s shape and curvature — to make sure we match you with the best lenses for your eye shape, eye health, and lifestyle needs.
For those with eye conditions such as dry eye, keratoconus, or astigmatism, we offer specialized fittings to make sure that even our “hard-to-fit” patients find impactful solutions.
We offer a wide selection of the most popular contact lenses and customizable specialty lenses to meet any and all of our patients’ needs.
Daily disposable contact lenses are the most common and popular type, in part because they’re simple to use, comfortable, and don’t need long-term care. Single-use contact lenses are also easier to swap out for glasses throughout the day for people who like a more flexible option.
Most people find daily disposables provide great clarity and are easy to wear as a default option.
Enjoy a safe, convenient, and comfortable way to wear contacts with daily contact lenses.
If you’re over 40 and have difficulty seeing close up, you may have a common age-related condition called presbyopia. Bifocal and multifocal contact lenses can help, especially if you don’t like using readers. These lenses also let you see in any direction — up, down, and to the sides — with consistent vision quality.
Patients who have presbyopia (age-related farsightedness) and don’t wish to wear reading glasses.
Clearly switch your focus from near to far as needed with bifocal and multifocal contact lenses.
For patients with astigmatism — a common eye condition that causes blurred vision — traditional contacts can be a challenge because of how oddly the eye is shaped. Toric contact lenses stay in place on even astigmatic eyes and correct for unusual prescriptions. Both disposable and specialty lenses can come in toric varieties and provide clarity at all distances.
People with mild to moderate corneal astigmatism.
Toric lenses let patients with unusual astigmatisms still enjoy the benefits of contact lenses.
Gas permeable (GP), or rigid gas permeable (RGP), lenses are “hard” contacts that rest their edges on the eye, rather than sit completely on the cornea, and allow more oxygen to pass through. RGP lenses come in several sizes and offer several advantages, including the fact they can last longer, be more breathable, and allow for sharper vision correction because they retain their shape.
People whose eyes are too dry/sensitive for standard contacts.
Allow your eyes to “breathe” and take advantage of sharper vision with RGP lenses.
Scleral lenses are one of the largest types of RGP lenses and are designed to sit on the white of the eye (sclera) and vault over the cornea. This “dome” acts as a new cornea, avoids irritating a variety of eye conditions, and creates a tear reservoir to hydrate the eye. Scleral lenses are highly breathable, which ensures that ample oxygen reaches the eye for healthy eyes and comfortable lens wear.
Many patients can benefit from scleral lens, but especially those with corneal irregularities like keratoconus, dry eye, allergies, or sensitive corneas.
Enjoy consistently clear, comfortable vision, even if you can’t wear other contact lenses.
